Homemade Croutons

Do you know how easy it is to make croutons?! It's SO easy!

First, you need bread- stale bread is perfect. I know you have some in your kitchen right now. Just cut it into small pieces, toss some olive oil and garlic powder on it, and bake it for about 15 minutes. Delicious! I like adding mine to salads and soups. I always add garlic but you could definitely switch up your herbs as you wish!

Ingredients

  • bread (stale is fine)
  • olive oil
  • garlic powder

Directions

  1. Cut bread into bite size pieces.
  2. Place bread into a bowl.
  3. Lightly coat the bread with olive oil. Just add enough so your spices will stick to the bread.
  4. Add garlic powder to taste. (optional: add different herbs)
  5. Bake ~15 minutes at 350. (cook time is dependent on how crispy you want the croutons and how much bread you use)
