Pie Crust

This is a simple and classic pie crust recipe that can be used for every kind of pie - sweet or savory! Once you make a pie with this pie crust (and share it), you'll be baking the pies at every holiday from now on! 


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 egg


  1. Mix everything together
  2. Roll out and use for any pie you wish.
  3. Beat an egg and brush on the top of the pie for a perfect golden crust.
  4. This recipe makes enough dough for 2 crusts (or 1 crust and a lattice top)!
