From Scratch: Easy Pickles
I don’t know about you but there’s actually been quite a few GOOD things to come out of this covid pandemic. For me, one of the best things has been these PICKLES. They are incredibly easy to make. Here’s the recipe:
-⅔ cup sugar
-1 cup vinegar
-1 cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
Warm up your vinegar and stir in the sugar until it dissolves. Put your cucumbers in a jar and pour the liquid on top. Chill it in the fridge. DONE!
See?! SO SIMPLE. We eat these on sandwiches, burgers, and just as an accoutrement. These beat store-bought pickles any day. My mom gets credit for the recipe!
